Who We Are
We have created an aviation subdivision where pilots can live the dream of being with their plane.
Leonard Firth has been a pilot for 50+ years. He has ratings as an airline transport pilot with multi and single-engine land with numerous type ratings, commercial single-engine sea, and lighter-than-air balloon pilot. Leonard is also an aircraft mechanic and holds his A&P license and has his IA authorization.
Pamela Mackey has been flying since 1999 as a single-engine land pilot and dreams of getting a seaplane rating and tail dragger certification soon.

COME AND VISIT
We are located at 11707 Fair Weather Field Dr off Hwy 359 between Hempstead, TX and Brookshire, TX. We are within easy driving distance of both Katy, TX and Houston, TX.
WE’RE ON THE MAP
We are located on the west side of Houston outside of the Mode C ring and outside of the Class D for Houston Executive on the Houston Sectional.
ON FIELD MAINTENANCE AND FUEL
We have on field maintenance and avgas is available during the hours the shop is open. The shop specializes in Rotax engine repair and is an authorized service center for SeaReys and Icon A5s.
BALLOONS
Balloons are a common sight here early in the morning on the weekends. Fair Weather Field has a designated balloon port on the FAA master record.
BRING YOUR PROJECT
Fair Weather Field is a good place for building a new plane or repairing an existing airplane. This picture shows the fabric replacement on our pre-war Aeronca Chief.
